I have new designer crush after discovering Portuguese Interior designer Ana Antunes. Her elegant living room ( pictured below ) featured in this months issue of Adore magazine: 

Elegant furnishings, perfectly paired pastels and feminine finishing touches are easy on the eye and enhance the sense of space. For me this apartment simply has all the right elements!

Custom made cushions!

One of the most exciting aspects in a decorator's life is watching the ideas you have take shape. There's nothing like seeing fabric morph into cushions, blinds, furniture....the list goes on! I have a particular fondness for cushions. Cushions inject colour, personality and simply transform a room. My soft furnishings maker delivered these beautiful new cushions today and I just had to steal a few snaps as sadly they belong to a client and must leave tomorrow ;( 

Good news though!! I ordered a fraction more fabric to make cushions for the store! They'll be ready in to two weeks. Keep an eye on our online store where they'll be availiable for purchase or contact us with question or for further information at kristyleeinteriors@live.com.

Our latest cockatoo lamp has a sulphur crest and spunky blue and white geometric print shade!  

Just in!! Cockatoo lamps

Here's a quick pic of our adorable new Cockatoo lamp with custom made shade in blue and green criss cross fabric. The lampbase is ceramic and has been hand crafted, locally. The base by itself is $345 and the shade photographed is $215. Lampshades are made to order and we have a large variety of fabrics to choose from.
